  Clean, non-SMOKING Sports bar!
  Lots events and an amazing bar food menu.
  (Heads up the chicken taquito is not small)

  Football season in Vegas and we were blessed to find Chanclas Cantina where football games are in full effect.  Great Game Day Specials - great menu and support for all teams!  As part of a Raider Booster Club in SoCal, our trip to Vegas had us looking for a great spot to watch our game.
  
  Home of Los Villanos - Sin City Raiders Booster Club (Chanclas) welcomed us to a great day and positive, safe, family oriented event.  Great day with no drama, violence or negativity - great location, parking and facility.
  
  Eddie, owner provided outstanding service and is very friendly, kind, courteous and maintains a great bar!
  
  Very pleased and look forward to visiting new location on Fremont Street in the near future!

  Great ownership, poor service.
  So what had happened was; i come inside and order a drink. By the time the bartender rings me up, I notice .50 cent wings so when she comes back to charge me, I ask for a dozen wings. Well, she tells me I can order them in increments of 5. That's fine and dandy so I order 10 wings. The bartender puts in my order and when she gets back to me I hand her 20 dollars. Mind you, I haven't checked the price.
  
  So I'm watching comedy and texting my little girl, the bartender brings me back 7 dollars change. I turn back around to watch more comedy. My wings come out and while I'm eating them, I notice my money is gone so I check my wallet to make sure I didn't put it in my wallet and then politely ask the bartender if she saw what happened to it. The bartender nicely explains that she thought it was on her side of the bar and assumed it was a tip. no big deal until she proceeds to grab me $5 out of her tip bucket and walk away with attitude (strike 1) So I remind her that she had originally givin me 7 back and she starts arguing with me about how tax isn't included and that they round to the dollar and walks away again. Well she can see that I am displeased so she prints me a new receipt, walks toward me to "prove me wrong", looks at the reciept, turns back around and goes back to her tip bucket where she pulls out more money (I was right all along) and hands me a dollar.

  Bartender short changed me, owner said she would check the cameras and invited me back for tacos and tostadas tomorrow.
  
  In summary, my 2 star vote was based on the interaction I had with the bartender. 1 Star for food quality because the wings were great and one more star because the owner pacified me enough to leave thinking that there's a chance that something will be done and other customers won't have to deal with what I went through.

  Family  This is what I like. I don't Like there's no NFL Specials. 1&2$dollar Beers while the Games on Or Hello Shots. Something.  There's $2 Tacos.. But Ex Cusme..  We WANT TO DRINK.....!!!!!! ..  WATCH THE GAME..   .,.. $1 HotDogs or Nachos.. .  Will b my Spot!!!!!

  I was looking for a place to watch sports and have some grub that wasn't a chain restaurant, and Chanclas Cantina was exactly what I was looking for.
  
  First off, the service at Chanclas is soooooo friendly. The bartender Genine is really cool. She gave great recommendations for food and cocktails, and she's just nice to talk to. Also, the owner Eddie is on site to chat, and answer questions; he's really great, too.
  
  On this particular Friday night, there was karaoke, but the K-Jock also played music when folks weren't singing. It was a great mix between Roger and Zapp and the Texas Tornadoes... it reminded me of my hometown in West Texas. The entertainment was great, it sounded good, and it wasn't too loud; you could still have a conversation.
  
  About the food: I ordered the steak fajitas because it was Fajita Friday, (Friday special) and they were great. There were lots of colorful bell peppers, and the temperature of the food was just right. I also really liked the beans that came on the side, they had great seasoning.
  
  *BONUS* There is no smoking inside, which is great when you just want to chill and not go home smelling like an ash tray.
  
  In summary, I really liked my experience at Chanclas. The atmosphere and the vibe is friendly as hell. I'm glad I found this cool little local's gem. I will definitely be back.
